The Director of Fuel Supply & Trading will develop and implement a strategic plan for the organization's fuel procurement including trade strategies and commercial initiatives. The role will have the opportunity to mentor/grow the fuel trading team, while encouraging a collaborative and forward thinking environment. This impactful role in our organization will lead the procurement, distribution and trading of refined fuel products. Top candidates will be energized by the challenge of creating strategy, identifying growth and solutions as complexity dictates and implementing new technology.
Primary duties include
Develops the strategic plan and ensure execution of arbitrage, hedging and derivative strategies to reduce risk and increase margin.
Evaluate, negotiate and manage the procurement, risk management, and transportation of gasoline, diesel and biofuel components.
Responsible for leading and developing a strong team that assists with successful execution of company objectives.
Develops and fosters relationships with fuel suppliers, pipeline operators and trucking companies.
Manages and controls fuel price options ensuring the most cost effective options for our stores are delivered on time.
Coordinate internal projects with partners in other areas of the organization (ex. BIA, Facilities, IT, Solar Transport).
Develop reports and present fuel supply updates to peers, superiors and Senior Leadership.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Logistics or related field.
A minimum of seven years of experience in market analysis, economics and/or logistics of purchasing, trading, storing, and transporting gasoline/components, intermediates/feedstocks and/or or other refinery products required.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
