Accounting Specialist

We have a client looking for Entry level Accounting Specialist talent. The Accounting Specialist will perform accounting duties in a team environment.
MINIMUM 2 YEARS ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE. Accounting degree preferred, but not required.
Key Attributes:
Detail oriented;
Fast and accurate Ten Key;
Team player;
Excellent communication skills;
Proficient in Excel; and
Ability to pick up on new systems quickly.
Previous Experience Desired:
General ledger;
AP/AR;
Creating and maintaining accounts;
Resolving discrepancies;
Creating and/or verifying invoices; and
Customer/client relations.
Responsibilities Include:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures;
Research;
Verify information is accurate and enter data into company systems;
Compile and analyze data;
Report generation;
Review, enter, and resolve accounting entries and discrepancies;
Internal and external customer/co-worker contact;
Create, edit, and follow-up on statements and invoices;
Assist lower-level accounting co-works as needed; and
Special projectsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
