Here at Randstad, one of our West Des Moines clients has an immediate need for a business to business collections representative.
- Regularly contact customers about payments on account. Work to keep accounts receivables current or within terms through collection calls
- Provide customer service assistance to internal and external clients with regards to their accounts. Field and process customer complaints and resolve internally with respective departments.
- Assist in billing corrections.
- Extend credit to new customers. Research and process credit inquiries and applications for approval. Process credit applications as received and send out requests for updating credit applications in order to maintain a current file.
- Post customer payments.
- Process monthly accounts receivable statements for the various divisions of company and field questions from clients regarding statement.
- Process daily invoicing.
Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Qualified Education/Background:
--1 - 3 years of accounting experience and/or undergraduate accounting degree.
--Familiarity with performing general ledger entries and comfort with high-volume entry.
--Collections background/experience; general comfort level with making collections calls and pursuing payment from tardy/difficult customers. Heavy telephone communication is required.
--Ability to professionally communicate via telephone fax and email.
--Self-directed to meet regular deadlines.
