This position is responsible for overall leadership and general management of the Medicaid and other State programs business unit. The incumbent is accountable for strategic planning, account management, operations, financial management, product development, client satisfaction, workforce management, and culture for the business unit. 1. As a member of the Executive Team, participate in establishing and supporting the company's vision, strategies, and business plan to fulfill the company's mission. 2. Develop and execute business unit strategies in alignment with the company's vision and mission to meet strategic, operational, and financial objectives. Monitor activity reports and financials to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures. 3. Lead, coach, and develop Directors who manage Population Health Management operations in Medicaid, and other state government programs. Ensure the efficient delivery of solutions in all of these areas. 4. Build and enhance relationships with major clients to improve client satisfaction and retain business. Apply account management strategies and tactics across all functional areas to ensure a high probability of business retention and growth. 5. Support business development through understanding and demonstrating industry and market knowledge of core products and services. Recommend innovative product strategies and product development to capitalize on market opportunities. Coordinate on strategy and tactics with Business Development leaders in the state market segment. Review and approve bid authorizations for new and renewal business opportunities that will be executed by the business unit. 6. Selects, develops, and manages employees to achieve individual, team, and organizational success. Ensures employee accountability through routine observation, performance measurement, and performance feedback. Fulfills the Telligen Management Philosophy that Managers coach, engage, empower and support our people to achieve results. 7. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. Four year degree in management, business administration, health care or related field and/or equivalent experience. 10 to 15 years experience in increasingly responsible management positions in the healthcare industry. Five plus years experience effectively leading a division or department with P&L; responsibility. Demonstrated industry knowledge and technical understanding of Population Health Management programs, services and products, which would include care management, disease management, care coordination, utilization review, member engagement and provider engagement. Up to 40% local and overnight travel. Advanced degree in business, healthcare administration or population health management preferred. Executive leadership in a health care environment preferred. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
