This position shall play an important part in the daily operations of Construction Safety Specialists, Inc.
(CSSI).
CSSI offers an array of technical safety training services, as well as a full complement of inspection and audit services.
This position is charged with coordinating contracts, billing, service agreements related to speakers and presenters, retainer clients and the project-specific WORKSAFE program.
Growth in the position can be achieved through the development and demonstration of improved operational management systems, processes and best practices.
Also, the position will be central to achieving increased quality of customer service.
This position reports to the Deputy Executive Director and works directly with the Director of Education and Training; and the Director of Compliance and Inspections.
The Operations Coordinator will need to be able to multitask as the demands of the role are required to work on a number of projects at once.
This person will be constantly aware of what is going on throughout the business and will need to build strong organizational skills and follow specific processes to be successful.
Specific skills required for the position include:
Detail oriented Focused on coordination and collaboration Strong organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Highly competent on coordinating multiple schedules Strong project management skills Good writing and communication skills Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for coordinating inspection schedules of safety professionals Responsible for tracking the usage of monthly retainer hours for a number of different clients Responsible for tracking inspection schedules for WORKSAFE projects Responsible for communicating with speakers/trainers to secure training materials, marketing materials, confirmation information, coordinate travel and lodging.
Responsible for understanding and coordinating class room sets, and requested AV requirements for speakers.
Responsible for the allocation of training and course credentials and certifications.
Responsible for all post communications w/ speakers - attendance, thank you letters, evaluation information Responsible for all training evaluation information Responsible for coordination and management of an in-house training record keeping program called Training Vault.
Responsible for maintenance of a credential tracking program called Master Builder Designation Responsible for maintaining an education / training database information system Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way Duties and
Responsibilities:
Working with team leaders and department heads to learn departmental needs and goals Observing, reviewing and analyzing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made Identifying and resolving any problems in the process Designing and maintaining clear operational guides to ensure consistency of operations Delivering reports to management teams to provide insight into the overall efficiency of the organization Collaborating with management to set departmental and organization-wide goals Experience and Education:
Three to five years of proven work experience as an operations coordinator or similar role with competency and knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management High School diploma required with post-secondary education preferred Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
