The Outpatient Orthopaedic Surgery Center is located in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Do I want the job? As an OR Nurse you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing outpatient orthopaedic surgery procedures.
You are able to maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room, while providing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
You will perform thorough patient assessments required by the outpatient setting.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and assist with the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.

What does an outstanding OR RN look like? Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa as a Registered Nurse.
An active BLS Certification.
An active ACLS and PALS preferred.
Prior experience working in orthopaedics or an ASC is preferred.
Must be able to prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
Flexibility of hours based on scheduled cases.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle high stress environments and be adaptable to change.
