Farm Bureau Financial Services is searching for a Corporate Scanning and Indexing Technician who is customer service focused and who is comfortable working in a fast paced, flexible environment.
As a Corporate Scanning and Indexing Technician, you will be responsible for reviewing and determining how to process documents for scanning, indexing, and distribution of business mail.

What you'll do:

  • Respond to customer service requests according to Farm Bureau policy in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Define, identify, sort, and batch documents for automated workflow distribution systems for scanning and indexing.
  • Manage confidential material and monies appropriately to meet companies' compliance, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain equipment to support all department operational needs.
  • Perform audits on completed operational transactions.
  • Perform assigned work in accordance with established guidelines and provide operational backup.

What it takes to join our team:

  • High school degree or equivalent experience plus two years of relevant experience required.
  • Must be meticulous and have strong analytical and organizational skills with the focus on accuracy.
  • Knowledge of windows and systems software.
  • Knowledge of equipment for identifying, scanning, and archiving documents preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Oral and written communication skills appropriate to the position.
  • Ability to read write and speak the English language.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
