We're Seeking a Seasoned Enterprise Technology ArchitectWhat does this role entail at Sammons Financial Group? It means you're someone who can confidently say yes to the following:
Have you dedicated over 10 years to practicing architecture, including broad experience across technology disciplines (application, data, security, infrastructure) with significant depth in at least one area?Have you collaborated closely with, or been, a business analyst, portfolio manager, asset manager, IT services manager, or similar role?Do you thrive on defining long-term strategies and celebrating incremental achievements? Have you led teams, formally or informally, in acquiring new knowledge and skills?Is seeing the impact of your work fulfilled through others a personally rewarding accomplishment for you?Your Role and ImpactIn partnership with Principal Architects across the enterprise, you will:
Engage with senior project portfolio leaders to ensure alignment with technology governance.
Support technology asset management, particularly for new technology acquisitions.
Drive the creation and adoption of architecture standards across technology domains.
Develop tools for self-service architecture decisions, such as decision trees, patterns, checklists, and other aids.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and services that align with our business objectives and promise significant enterprise value.

Qualifications:
College Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems preferredMinimum 15 years' IT development experience or equivalent preferredFull lifecycle experience as a senior level architect on multiple complex enterprise /strategic solutions preferredEffective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with business partners and other IT staffProblem solving skills sufficient to perform research and recommend a proposed solution to problemsAble to work on multiple tasks and meet established deadlinesAble to effectively direct and coordinate the work of other team members on a project without having HR management responsibility for themKnowledge of computer programming languages as required for the systemEstablished leadership track record of human capital management and succession principles, practices, and proceduresDemonstrated effective negotiating and influence leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to present and adapt ideas in a business and user friendly language$109,964 - $229,092 - Range includes data points from multiple labor markets.
Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position.
Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
