What You'll Do:
As an Insurance Licensing Representative, you'll play a key role in the onboarding, maintaining and off-boarding of agents and field staff.
Accurately maintaining the professional licensing records of our agents and field staff is critical to helping them do what they do best - protecting our client/members livelihoods and futures.
And you'll do it all in collaboration with a strong team of fellow licensing associates who place teamwork and accuracy as their top priorities.
No two days are the same, so it's important to be adaptable and flexible as you will have other duties as assigned.
You will:

  • Create and maintain accurate records of our field staff including on-boarding and off-boarding staff.
  • Work with Agency Managers and Agents in hiring staff and ensuring all documentation is collected and accurately completed.
  • Respond to inquiries concerning licensing and other on-boarding activities via e-mail (with limited phone work as well).
  • Some flexibility for remote work is available after training is complete.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

  • Associates degree or equivalent plus 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work, including a sense of urgency when responding to requests.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Solid organizational and attention-to-details skills, with ability to absorb and move on new information quickly.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work from our located in West Des Moines, Iowa.
    Some flexibility for remote work is available after training is complete.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
