3K - $51K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Seeking Medical Document Processor to perform reviews of complaints and correctly determine and enter complaint review results per the federal client's Standard Operating Procedures and internal procedures.
This is a fully remote, full time position with benefits.
Responsibilities:
Perform secondary or tertiary complaint reviews to ensure accuracy of submitted information.
Support and closely follow the program's quality process and initiatives.
Review and incorporate feedback from Lead QA Coordinator, Program Manager, and client to improve accuracy and quality of work.
Accurately enter review results using a RELI provided computer, keyboard and/or mouse.
Follow all established processes and procedures.
Report problems to Program Manager with regard to unique record or process issues.
Complete training as per federal client and organizational requirements.
Maintain security and confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
Consistently meet or exceed productivity and accuracy standards established by the client and/or the company.
Consistently meet attendance standards established by the company.
Interact appropriately with peers, co-workers, other Contractors, and the customer, when necessary.
Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in analyzing narrative information to make determinations/decisions.
Helpful work experience includes:
medical coding, medical billing, medical review, data entry, insurance, call center, helpdesk, criminal justice, education, or general administrative office.
Familiarity with Health Insurance Marketplace (HealthCare.
gov) is desirable.
Familiarity with or interest in reducing fraud, waste, and abuse of health care resources is desirable.
Ability to work independently and maintain an elevated level of concentration.
Capable of consistency, speed, and accuracy of task.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documentation.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
