Oversees and supports the operation of our Azure API Management platform.
Continuous improvement of tooling and automation for API development and operations processes.
Expert understanding of integration-centric complex software development life cycles and best practices.
Works collaboratively to support cross-functional teams through alignment and delivery of a reliable enterprise-wide development experience.
Implements, documents, and improves standard API Management processes and policies, and runtime topologies across the enterprise.
What we are looking for from candidates - demonstrated deep experience with:
Hands-on with Microsoft's API Management and related products Advance Azure API Management setup, configuration and support skills, which should include gateway functionality, consumer credential provisioning and management, policy specification and enforcement, developer portal configuration, topology modeling and deployment, etc.
Leverage APIM functionality alongside Azure DevOps (especially pipelines), security scanning products (e.
g.
Snyk, SonarQube), Backstage.
io, CMDB/Asset Management products, etc.
Production grade programming and/or scripting language(s) (automation, ci/cd, consume/create APIs, ) Creating and on-boarding of infrastructure-as-code, secrets management, and configuration management with CI/CD pipelines Container-based development workflows on-premises and in the cloud Familiarity with:
Azure policies, resource management, and administrative tools Site Reliability Engineering concerns Life Insurance and Annuity industry
Qualifications:
College Degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems preferred Minimum 12 years' IT development experience or equivalent preferred Experience as Technical Lead and/or Project Architect on very complex multi-subsystem solution delivery projects preferred Effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with business partners and other IT staff Problem solving skills sufficient to perform research and recommend a proposed solution to problems Able to work on multiple tasks and meet established deadlines Able to effectively direct and coordinate the work of other team members on a project without having HR management responsibility for them Knowledge of computer programming languages as required for the system $87,412 - $182,109 - Range includes data points from multiple labor markets.
Specific range is dependent on the labor market where the incumbent will be hired to perform the position.
Starting salary is dependent on candidate qualifications and experience.
