What You'll Do:
As an Ag Training Consultant, you will be responsible for improving agency performance and retention through the effective delivery of field training programs, both in-person and virtually across our 8-state footprint.
You will also be conducting and facilitating agency manager training.
You will partner with the Ag Business Unit to coordinate any ag training required and remain up to date on any new trends in the market.
As part of a valuable and skilled team, flexibility is key as you will have other duties as assigned.
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
College degree (Business or Marketing degree preferred) plus five years relevant experience required.
Insurance/financial service and sales experience preferred.
Ag background with experience in agriculture insurance or an agricultural business.
Must be licensed in all product lines offered by the company (Life & Health, Property/Casualty, Commercial, etc.
) Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required.
Must have exceptional problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
Excellent people skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have exceptional people leadership skills and experience.
Must be proactive, responsive, and provide excellent sales & service support.
A valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Records are required.
Moderate travel (up to 40%) is required.
Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
