What You'll Do:
In this role you will be a lead member of a team that is responsible for a comprehensive batch scheduling system (Control-M) and the (Administration of the environments, Infrastructure Management) Using Control-M enterprise Manager to support the Applications executing on the platform using Collaboration tools with development teams supporting requests for Job schedule changes, One shot job executions and defining workflow changes, Analyze and resolve problems or potential problems, Use of change Control standards and Best practices with a diligence to Protest Production.
Creating end-to-end workflow and batch job flows with the required scheduling criteria in a QA, Test and Production environment.
You will support these technologies and functions.
While this team is part of our Infrastructure and Operations organization, you will collaborate heavily with our Development teams across the IT- Organization.
The successful candidate will need to build strong relationships within IT and across the I&O teams and Applications Development team members.
o We are looking for an experienced IT professional to manage and support business critical telecommunications, providing production support for essential Control-M components technologies.
This position will be responsible for performing installations, completing moves/adds/changes across various platforms, resolving technical issues, and completing customer support requests.
o Analyze and resolve problems or potential problems (hardware, software, critical variability management, patching and software release currency standards for Control-M servers and data bases.
Participate in team planning sessions for system upgrades/Enhancements / Patching and prepare for sponsoring the review to a comity CAB Change Advisory Board.
o Coordinate and provide work direction to our Application Developers, Operators and Production control team members.
o Coordinate with Desk top deployment team for the Controlm Client Release generate the level installation file to support ControlM desk top Client software and/or drivers for IT FBFS users.
o Follow FBFS change management and problem management methodologies.
What You Need to Join Our Team College Degree (MIS) or equivalent plus one year's relevant experience required.
Must have in-depth skills supporting one or more of the following key enterprise infrastructure services or technology platforms:
data networks, application computing platforms, storage area networks, data base system infrastructures, middleware technologies, security infrastructure technologies, and or document management technology.
Must have analytical and problem-solving skills, logical information organization skills.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Maintain knowledge and skills current in alignment with industry technology developments.
On-call responsibility to support the FBFS network 24/7 Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be self-motivated.
Must be able to take directions.
Attention to detail is a must.
